Barb Sechser, Home Decor Manager | SCHEELS
Barb Sechser began her career with SCHEELS in 2006, just five years after moving to South Dakota from her home state, Nebraska. In her 17 years with the company, she’s grown from a part-time role to managing the Home Decor Shop.
“I love working with customers and seeing their minds be put at ease after helping them complete a room in their house or helping them do something as small as finding a gift,” Barb said.
Barb has had the privilege of being on the Home Decor SCHEELS buying team for 11 years. She has attended AmericasMart in Atlanta, and twice a year, she attends the High Point Furniture Market with other members of the SCHEELS buying team. High Point is the largest home furnishings trade show in the world! By being at market, Barb gets to see new trends firsthand and help curate an assortment of merchandise that will both appeal to their customers’ current style and help them incorporate new trends.
