Housing Opportunities: Hugo Barron, Sioux Empire Housing Partnership

Hugo Barron

Born in Mexico and raised in Iowa, Hugo Barron has made his chosen home Sioux Falls. He serves as the President of the Sioux Empire Housing Partnership (SEHP), a program that responds to the needs of the community by offering services for low-to-moderate-income families and minorities. They provide a variety of housing, financial and credit advice as well as First-Time homebuyer and rental educational services by partnering with local non-profits.

“We know that no two businesses are alike. SEHP stands apart from the competition by providing services with humility. SEHP strives to offer high quality and consistent services which can also be personalized. This ensures that every customer gets the best possible experience from the very first time we meet,” Barron said.

SEHP serves approximately 600 families and individuals per year and has earned the 100 National Winners Best of the Best: Best Practices Award.
