Jeff Griffin grew up in Canton, Ohio and worked in juvenile corrections for 15 years. In 2020, he took on the roles of President and CEO of the Greater Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce. Led by Griffin, the Chamber is a dynamic membership organization of businesses and individuals working together to improve the Sioux Falls community. They drive economic growth, advocate for businesses, develop leaders and work to improve community members’ quality of life.
“With nearly 2,000 business members who employ nearly 80,000 individuals, the Chamber of Commerce truly touches all corners of the community,” Griffin said. In fact, the Chamber is in the 99th percentile nationwide for communities the size of Sioux Falls!
“Mainly, the Chamber serves at the intersection of Government, Community and Business. We advocate for pro-business policies, build strong relationships with our educators and workforce training allies, welcome new people to town, build an inclusive environment open to all, provide business sense training opportunities, host networking and celebratory events and mobilize over 1,000 members of your YPN (Young Professionals Network) to help attract and retain young professionals to Sioux Falls,” Griffin said.
