Transitional Housing: Staff & Residents, Kingdom Boundaries

Kingdom Boundaries

Kingdom Boundaries Prison Aftercare Ministries provides transitional housing and assistance for men (and soon women) who have been recently released from prison. Located in downtown Sioux Falls, Kingdom Boundaries serves men from not only South Dakota, but nationwide. Their goal is to break the prison cycle by introducing formerly incarcerated individuals to Christianity to help transform lives.

Kingdom Boundaries aims to treat each resident as an individual, providing a safe, secure and caring environment for successful re-entry into the Sioux Falls community.

“Along with a bed and roof, we offer friendship, accountability, Biblical wisdom and guidance and personalized mentoring, in addition to many practical resources,” staff member Timothy Bariteau said.

While the national recidivism rate remains high, residents from faith-based transitional housing consistently maintain a lower tendency to re-offend. Kingdom Boundaries is attempting to meet a very real, yet often overlooked need, becoming a great ally for the wonderful people who call Sioux Falls their home!
