Meet Dr. Lauren Skattum, President and CEO of Britt Haus. After moving from Florida in April 2022, Dr. Skattum opened Britt Haus, a private medical practice, dedicated to creating an environment where women can feel comfortable openly discussing their concerns. “The best outcomes come from getting to know your patients and taking the time to understand their stories,” Dr. Skattum said.
Britt Haus operates in a direct patient care (DPC) membership model, focusing on the unique healthcare needs of women at every stage of life and prioritizing personal and trusting relationships between patient and provider, independent of insurance.
Britt Haus offers a wide range of holistic healthcare services, including gynecology, hormone therapy, annual exams, and lifestyle medicine. Dr. Skattum’s dedication extends beyond what a typical practitioner offers; all office visits are covered under a membership fee, and patients can text directly with the doctor for real-time answers. Dr. Skattum also conducts free speaking engagements advocating for women’s health and offers “Pay What You Can Tuesday” for economically struggling women.
With a mission to empower women in their health and well-being, Dr. Skattum aims to create a generational impact on families and communities. The DPC membership model allows for extended appointments, same-day or nextday access, and personalized care, all for an affordable monthly fee.
