Showplace Cabinetry has been building more than cabinets since 1999. The Harrisburg, South Dakotabased company has grown into a nationwide, 100% employee-owned cabinetry brand with more than 665 employee-owners, 900 active dealers, and a reputation rooted in quality, service, and South Dakota craftsmanship. At the heart of that service are Showplace’s Customer Relations and Design Service Departments.
The Customer Relations Department includes 18 professionals who support dealers across the country. Some came to Showplace with strong customer service backgrounds, while others transitioned from the production floor, bringing deep product knowledge with them. Together, they handle everything from answering calls and processing orders to supporting production teams with questions. More importantly, they build real relationships with the people behind every order.
The Design Service Department includes eight talented designers with unique backgrounds and styles. They help dealers bring projects to life, whether starting with a blank builder floor plan or a homeowner’s detailed wish list. The team creates floor plans, elevations, 3D images, and pricing quotes, then works with dealers through revisions until the client is satisfied.
.Showplace offers made-to-order framed overlay, inset, and fullaccess cabinetry, with more than 45 door styles, 36 standard paint colors, 1,000-plus Sherwin-Williams paint options, 25-plus stains, and thousands of customizable SKUs.
The company also gives back through its Employee Directed Giving Program, donating $140,000 annually to community organizations selected by employee-owners.
Showplace cabinets are made in South Dakota, built by South Dakotans, and owned by South Dakotans. With more than 3 million cabinets shipped, 164 employees with 10-plus years of service, and 800-plus cabinets built each day, Showplace continues to prove that great cabinetry starts with great people.
